Last week in São Paulo, we had the pleasure of hosting David Thyagarajan alongside Drenolux Comercio De Produtos Médicos Ltda, focusing on our VAIOS® Reverse Shoulder System.
Mr Thyagarajan led and supported an instructional shoulder cadaveric lab, alongside discussions on custom shoulder prostheses using the ICOS process and delivered presentations on the VAIOS® portfolio, covering key features, indications, surgical applications, and clinical outcomes. It was encouraging to see strong engagement from delegates, with thoughtful questions and valuable discussions throughout.
The cadaveric lab sessions were a particular highlight. The hands-on format enabled delegates to explore the system in a practical setting, providing deeper insight into the instrumentation and surgical workflow.
The meeting was exceptionally well organised, with a fantastic programme put together by the Drenolux Comercio De Produtos Médicos Ltda team. Their hospitality, enthusiasm, and attention to detail played a key role in making the event such a success.
A great example of collaboration, education, and innovation in shoulder surgery.
